Should have gone to Spec-tour?

The London based band Spector completed their second tour at Bristol's Louisiana last Friday.  Sitting in their dressing room I learned that this "nothing you haven't seen before" band, are in fact something the likes of Jools Holland has certainly never seen. They played three songs on the legendary show in November and since then have had a string of sell out back-to-back gigs across the country.

all about chemistry

Everyone's favourite Hallmark holiday may have passed us by, but there is always room for more love at Helicon. Here is a short film by Brent Hoff documenting "the world's first love competition", held at the Stanford MRI Lab. The contestants are invited to 'love someone as hard as they can' for 5 minutes whilst being examined by an MRI machine. The winner is the one who 'loves' the most. The results are both surprising and poignant. Enjoy.
